Volo is launching its first full-time program, The Exploratory, in 2024-25. Volo is only accepting a limited number of students as a beta cohort to iron out wrinkles in our programming, governance, and administration before opening doors to the wider community.
Volo Natural Learning Community is based in Park City, Utah. Learning will take place across a multitude of locations near and around Park City.
What is Volo’s location?
Volo’s home base will be in the Summit County Kimball Junction Library for the 2024-25 school year. We will regularly travel from Park City to learning locations within 45 minutes. Our main destination will be an 80-acre open space property between Park City and Kamas, approximately 12 minutes from Park City.
Additional locations include:
• A privately owned mountain property near Kamas;
• The Jordan River Migratory Bird Reserve with new outdoor classrooms and ongoing riparian restoration;
• Swaner Nature Preserve;
• Various protected open spaces in Summit and Wasatch Counties.
